Hearing Care In Three Easy Steps

We offer a comprehensive process to measure your hearing and improve your communication.

hearing evaluation@2x

Step 1. Complete Diagnostic Hearing Evaluation

The first step is a complete diagnostic hearing evaluation in a sound-treated test booth. Test results provide the “roadmap” for your course of treatment. If test results suggest the need for a medical examination, the audiologist will refer you to your primary care provider or an ear, nose and throat specialist

Step 2. Discussing Hearing Solutions

If a hearing loss is measured and hearing aids are the best treatment, the audiologist will discuss the most appropriate style for you, taking into account the degree and type of hearing loss, your cosmetic preferences and your ability to use and care for the instruments. The audiologist will explain available features, such as  Bluetooth connectivity  and rechargeability.

Step 3. Hearing Aid Fitting & Followup

The audiologist will program the selected hearing devices and verify the settings in your ears using Real Ear Measurement. She will then teach you how to use and care for the instruments. Follow-up visits are scheduled to ensure you feel comfortable using the new devices. We will then contact you for periodic hearing aid checks, typically every six months, to be sure you continue to receive the best benefit from your instruments.

High Quality Devices, Professionally Programmed

Our Doctors of Audiology dispense state-of-the-art hearing instruments from several manufacturers. We will recommend the style and technology best suited to your individual listening needs. We verify that the settings are optimized for you by making Real Ear Measurements. We spend time teaching you how to use and care for your devices. We encourage you to return for periodic maintenance visits, so you are always hearing your best. When you are fit with hearing aids, you begin a long-term relationship with your audiologist. We welcome the opportunity to provide the ongoing care you need.
