I enjoy watching television with closed captioning. Is there anything like that for the telephone?

New technology offers options for better results on the telephone. A captioned telephone can be substituted for your landline phone.  Even if you don’t have a landline phone, if you have high speed internet access, you may use a special amplified phone called Caption Call. The Caption Call phone prints the words on a display screen, so you can read the other speaker’s words while listening to the voice. This takes the pressure off your ears, since you are using your eyes and ears together.

If your audiologist certifies that you have a hearing loss that affects your ability to use the telephone, you will receive the Caption Call phone at no charge! Contact us if you have any questions.
